Frequently Asked Questions - Cabins & Campsites

Check-in is at 11am, check-out is at 2pm.
Please dispose of your trash in the blue dumpster at the main entrance.

We have a small gift shop / market. We stock Wilderness On Wheels swag, disability awareness stickers, and some basic supplies like sunscreen, bug spray, condiments, salt/pepper.
Our gift shop opens at 8am and is closed by 8pm.

Yes, some of our sites can accommodate RVs, camper vans, and pop-up campers. It’s best to call ahead to be sure that you’ve chosen the right campsite for your size rig.
For most needs, these sites are available and have electricity capabilities:
Hut 5, 5A
Tent site 8
Tent site 11 (no electric)
We do not have a dump station for RVs.

Dogs are allowed in the cabins, huts, and campsites.
Dogs must be on a leash. Be sure to pick up after your pet and dispose of the poop bags in the blue dumpster at the main entrance.

This is strictly dependent on if there is a fire ban in Park County. We must follow their rules and obey any fire restrictions set in place.
When there is not a fire ban, campfires are allowed at the Log Cabin and the campsites.
Fires are never allowed at the Ridge Top Cabin.
